Great product! Was worried about them being dry and small. Great for extracts and vanilla bean paste as well as infusing for creams. Best value on the market!!! Splurge and get the 1 pound bag! If you use vanilla beans you'll get lots and lots of use out of these. It's HUGE !!
As a cake maker I make a lot of vanilla extract. I mean, a lot! I go through a gallon a month. I've used all different brands over the years. When I stumbled upon these bits and pieces I was a little skeptical, but the price made me think "if it's not great it's no big loss ". Once I blended these in alcohol I knew they were special, you could immediately smell the warm sweet vapors. After just 1 month it was tasting magical! After 5 months of extracting it was better than any other extract I've made. I can't wait to see how it develops after a whole year!
I risked the wrath of my husband and ordered 3 pounds of the grade B cuts. I’m very impressed and have many different types of vodka extracting for gifts. I generally have three or 4 gallons brewing at one time so it is quite an investment.
I’ve always used the grade A but I find this is much more economical and so far is producing vastly superior vanilla. Well worth the risk and he’s over it now. I’m still reaping the rewards!
